Pre-Flop – Hole Cards Are Dealt

Every player at the VIPPkr table is dealt two private cards face down – these are your hole cards. The player to the left of the dealer posts a small blind and the next player posts a big blind (these are mandatory forced bets that seed the pot). Starting from the player after the big blind, each player can call (match the big blind), raise (increase the bet), or fold (surrender the hand). Action continues clockwise until all remaining players have matched the highest bet.

The Flop – Three Community Cards

Three community cards are dealt face up in the centre of the table – this is the Flop. All players share these cards and can use them to build their best five-card hand combined with their two hole cards. A new round of betting takes place. The player immediately to the left of the dealer acts first. Options are check (pass without betting if no bet has been placed), bet, call, raise, or fold.

The Turn – Fourth Community Card

A fourth community card is placed face up alongside the first three – this is called the Turn or Fourth Street. The appearance of this card frequently changes the relative strength of hands at the table. Another betting round takes place with the same options as the Flop round. Experienced VIPPkr players treat the Turn as the point where position and reads become especially important – the pot is usually larger here and decisions carry more weight.

The River – Fifth and Final Community Card

The fifth and final community card is revealed – the River or Fifth Street. This is the last chance for players to make or complete their best possible hand from any combination of their two hole cards and the five community cards. The final betting round takes place. Players can now be certain of their maximum hand strength and must decide whether to value bet, bluff, call, raise, or fold based on their read of the situation.

Showdown – Best Hand Wins

If two or more players remain after the final betting round, a Showdown takes place. All remaining players reveal their hole cards and the best five-card hand wins the entire pot.
